These are the current prices for my commissions!

Important Information:

These are base prices - to give you an estimate for budget if you would like to commission me. A quote will be given after a full consultation :) _{(You can DM me anytime for a free rough quote without committing to a commission request)}
All prices are listed in USD for convenience on the internet (Will be invoiced in AUD.)

Comparing the styles I offer:

Main Differences:

- The style you would see on my Instagram the most.	- Features are more realistic and with a higher level of rendering.
- Blushed points (Nose, Ears, Shoulders etc.)	- Hair strands are drawn individually to create a more realistic texture up close.

Extra's

Extra's will be priced during consultation, according to complexity.
Some extras include but are not limited to:

Tattoos or markings.
Armour.
Weapons.
Wings.
Significant scarring.
Overly complicated or elaborate jewellery or clothing. (This will usually include fur with the semi-realism style.)
Special effects or visual powers.

Please note: extras are priced in a case by case basis. Some 'extras' you find on this list will not increase the price if they are small or simple enough :)

Fee's

Commercial - Commercial rights to the completed commission is 50% - 100% of the full commission price. This can be discusses and negotiated during consultation.
NSFW - Depending on the level of NSFW there will be a fee between 5% to 50%. Please note that kissing or light intimacy will not cost any extra. (If you're unsure feel free to send me an email or DM!)
Redraw fee - If you want the drawing to be completely redrawn at any point I will need to add a redraw fee according to how much work has been completed. (If the reason a complete redraw is requested is a clear error on my part, I won't charge for this! :))
Extra changes - I am more than happy to make as many free alterations as required in the first round of each review stage as long as you let me know the changes all at once and make sure they are related to the review stage. After the first round of changes at each stage, any additional changes will incur a fee.
No references - If you have no references at all and require me to search for you I will need to add a fee.

Frequently Asked Questions

At the beginning of the process, all you need is knowing which style you want me to draw in and a general idea of what you want your commission to be. By the time I'm preparing to start your commission I will need a minimum of three visual references for each character. (The more references the merrier, but if you're having trouble some great ideas are; a face claim, hair colour/length/texture and outfit.) If you are commissioning a character I have a 'Character design form' that will give me all the information I need for the commission.

The only payment method I currently accept is PayPal. Commissions are listed in USD for convenience on the internet. (Invoices will be paid in AUD)

Yes, I will require a non-refundable deposit if you wish to be put on my waiting list. This is not an additional charge, and will be taken off the final price.

This depends largely on my workload and the complexity of the commission. Most commissions will take around 3-4 weeks (excluding weekends) from when the sketch is started. (Maybe a little more if you choose my semi-realism style.) If you have a deadline, please let me know when you request the commission. You can always DM me to ask if a deadline could be met or you can check out my Trello to see how many projects might be in front of yours :)

Yes, you can. If you want to be pushed to the front of the line and have your commission started sooner or you want your commission completed sooner than the 3-4 week estimated turn around time. You are more than welcome to request a rush order for an additional fee. Please note, I will only accept a rush order if I feel that I have adequate time to achieve my standard of quality.

I always give at-least three updates for a full-render commission process (Sometimes more). If you are curious about how your commission is progressing, you can always check out my Trello! I kindly ask that you keep update requests to a minimum because it tends to interrupt my creative process and slows down your commission.

You can use your commission commercially as long as you have paid the commercial fee or we have discussed an exemption. If you haven't paid this fee, and I find that you have used my art commercially you will be called out and blacklisted :(

Yes, there is a possibility that I will post your commissioned illustration publicly. If you don't want this please let me know and we can discuss!

I happy to accept commissions that are light NSFW to moderate NSFW! There is a possibility I will not accept graphic NSFW or fetishes. As long as you're not being creepy about it, usually I am open to anything. If you aren't sure, just ask :)

Yes! If you and a group of friends want to do a commission together I am more than happy to consult privately or in a group chat.

Yes! To offer some flexibility, I currently offer two payment plan options: Option 1: Custom Instalments You may choose to divide the total cost into equal payments (e.g. 2 or 4 instalments) and select a payment interval that suits you (e.g. weekly or fortnightly). If the commission is completed before the final payment is made, the final high-resolution files will be delivered once the full balance is received. Option 2: 50/50 Split This plan allows for 50% payment after the first approved sketch, with the remaining amount due upon final completion of the artwork, (typically 3-4 weeks later). Please note, there is a small 4% fee to cover the additional fees I incur from multiple payments.

Please ensure that you are confident in your decision to commission artwork from me before making any payment. If you wish to cancel the commission at any point, I will provide a partial refund based on the portion of the work that remains incomplete. If I am unable to complete the commission on my end, I will offer you a refund accordingly. I only require payment after you are completely happy with the sketch :)

Just a sketch is ~75% off the base price, Linework is ~50% off the base price.

Please note: If you buy a fully rendered piece, the sketch can be included for free if you request it in at the beginning :)

Alternative versions of your commission will be priced based on the extent of work required to redraw or modify the original design.
_{E.g. If the initial commission is a full-body illustration and you request a second version with a different pose or outfit, the price will reflect the effort needed to create that new version. For instance, a full-body redraw may cost 75% of the original price, while a minor variation, like a colour change, would cost less.}

Rush Order:

You have the option to expedite your commission if you'd like to bypass the queue or receive your artwork ahead of the standard 3-4 week turnaround time.
This will include a percentage fee between 30% - 100% of the commission cost.
If I believe I can not give you my usual standard of quality in the time rushed time frame, I will decline the commission.

Redraw Fee

If you want the drawing to be completely redrawn at any point I will need to add a redraw fee according to how much work has been completed.

The process:

Once you have submitted a commission request form I will review it and get back to you, usually within the first 24hrs (Excluding weekends).
Once accepted, I will reach out to you via the contact information you provide in the form. I will send you an additional character design form to get to know your character/s in detail!
We can either discuss the specifics of your commission so that I can provide a quote, or in the case of an extensive waitlist, details of the commission can be discussed closer to the start date.
In the event of a waitlist I will send you an invoice to secure your place with a non-refundable deposit. (This is subtracted from the final invoice.)
When I am ready to start your commission I will check in with a summary of what I will be sketching to double check that we're still on the same page before I start.

Terms of Service:

My Rights - I reserve the right to decline any commission request for any reason.
Currency - All prices are listed in USD for ease of comparison on the internet. I invoice in AUD.
Alterations/Review Stages - I’m more than happy to accommodate changes during the designated review periods. The first revisions at each review stage is included at no additional cost. Please note that any further revisions beyond the initial ones, or changes requested outside of the review periods, may incur an extra fee. If you wish to start the commission from scratch at any point, a redraw fee will apply, calculated based on the work completed up to that stage.
No References - I am happy to work completely off description or chapters for scenes. But any revisions to my interpretation will incur a fee.
Copyright - I remain the sole copyright holder of any and all images I produce. This means that while you are free to use the commissioned artwork for personal purposes, you may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or use the artwork for commercial purposes without my explicit permission.
Credit - I must be credited as the artist (@shannonmaree.art) whenever my art is used or showcased.
Commercial Use - The finished artwork is for personal, non-commercial use only. If you wish to use the piece for commercial purposes, please specify this on the request form. Additional licensing fees may apply, depending on the scope and nature of the commercial use. Purchasing commercial rights allows you to use the artwork for business purposes, such as marketing or product sales, but it does not transfer ownership of the copyright. I, as the artist, retain full copyright over the artwork, meaning I still control how it can be reproduced, distributed, or modified. Commercial rights simply grant you permission to use the artwork in a business context, while the original creative ownership remains with me.
Refunds - Please ensure that you are confident in your decision to commission artwork from me before making any payment. If you wish to cancel the commission at any point, I will provide a partial refund based on the portion of the work that remains incomplete. If I am unable to complete the commission on my end, I will offer you a refund accordingly.
Wait List - If my commission slots are full, you may opt to be placed on a waitlist. To secure your spot, a small non-refundable deposit is required, which will be deducted from the final price of the commission to confirm your place in the queue.
Rush Orders - You have the option to expedite your commission if you'd like to bypass the queue or receive your artwork ahead of the standard 3-4 week turnaround time.
AI - My artworks cannot be used in any way to train, generate or benefit AI technologies.

All genders, sexualities, ages, ethnicities and body types.

Won't do:

Super graphic violence or fetishes.
Content that promotes hate.
Any subject matter that makes me uncomfortable or that I believe I cannot render to my standard of quality.
Unrealistic deadlines that don't allow for adequate time to ensure quality work.

Wrap around designs will cost an additional 50% -100% of the front design cost.

Dust jackets:

Dust jacket costs will be calculated the same as a cover + the wrap around percentage increase.

Dust jackets using the same design as the cover will only increase the price by the extra work. (Only the wrap around percentage increase.)

Thumbnails:

Thumbnails are quick sketches to plan out the posing, positioning and overall composition of a cover. It isn’t necessary, but I would definitely recommend this if you aren’t sure of the exact composition you would like.
